- Urban Seed’s Indian Tigers win Indoor Competition at Maribyrnong, 2010
Goals:
- Build resilience and social inclusion among newly arrived students
- Offer practical opportunities for Belonging, Mastery, Independence, Generosity through cricket and social events.
- Connect with 15 participants over a 15 week period from June to September 2011
Target Group:
Culturally and linguistically diverse students and newly arrived migrants living in the inner Western suburbs in relationship with:
- Footscray Baptist Church
- Seeds Footscray
- Victoria University
- Urban Seed
- Barkly Street Uniting Cricket Club
- Student Organisations
Action Indoor Sports Maribyrnong:
- Enter a team to play Thursday nights and some Monday nights in a 6 a side Indoor Cricket Winter Season.
