A Good Cricket Allround ‘Good Knock’ Participation Program :  Winter 2011

Goals:

• Build resilience and social inclusion among newly arrived  students
• Offer practical opportunities for Belonging, Mastery, Independence, Generosity through cricket and social events.
• Connect with 15 participants over a 15 week period from June to September 2011

 

Target Group:

Culturally and linguistically diverse students and newly arrived migrants living in the inner Western suburbs in relationship with:

• Footscray Baptist Church
• Seeds Footscray
• Victoria University
• Urban Seed
• Barkly Street Uniting Cricket Club
• Student Organisations

Action Indoor Sports Maribyrnong:

• Enter a team to play Thursday nights and some Monday nights in a 6 a side Indoor Cricket Winter Season.
